Welcome to the Blockley Ramblers web site.  Affiliated to the Ramblers’ Association and long established – we celebrated our 30^th anniversary in 2007 – we try to make the most of the glorious countryside around our unspoilt village of Blockley, situated in the Cotswolds close to Broadway, Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh.  We are one of the most active walking groups in the area with a total membership of around 70 and 25 to 30 members typically taking part in each of our Sunday walks.

Details of our 2012 Sunday walk programme are available here.  Walks normally take place on the second Sunday of the month and are led by members.  Most are around 4-5 miles in length and take place after lunch with a 13.30 or 14.30 start depending on the time of year.  Some involve longer distances usually with a morning start and pub or picnic lunch scheduled in half-way.  Fuller details of the individual walks are published on the various notice boards around the Parish a week or so in advance.

New members are very welcome as are those visiting Blockley for a short stay.  The 2012 subscription is the princely sum of £3, which also earns a discount at the Landmark outdoor specialist store in Broadway High Street.  To join, simply turn up at one of our walks and pay the subscription to the Treasurer or otherwise to the member leading the walk.
